    Introduction

    Massive congratulations to SPATZEK STUDIO, THOMAS AUFRESNE & DANIEL SPATZEK for winning Site of the Month March 2024 with BENNET & CLIVE. The website was designed for Bennett & Clive, a production company in NYC known for collaborations with top brands. The goal was to blend classic, typography-focused design with animations while maintaining a minimalist tone.

    The Challenge

    The primary challenge was to integrate animations in a way that enhanced the minimalist design without overshadowing it. The focus was on balancing visual engagement with simplicity, especially on pages showcasing Bennett & Clive's work. On the "About" page, the aim was to add a more entertaining touch. The interaction of the ampersand with other elements created subtle yet engaging visual effects, aligning with a fashion-like aesthetic.

    Teaming Up

    For this project, the designer Daniel Spatzek collaborated with creative developer Thomas Aufresne. Despite their different approaches, they successfully merged their skills. Spatzek's raw design process was adjusted to accommodate collaboration. They worked closely to develop and refine the desired animations for the website.
