Vercel has made enhancements to the Firewall System Bypass Rules to provide Pro and Enterprise customers with more control over bypassing Vercel's system mitigations, including DDoS protection. These improvements aim to address traffic issues that customers deploying a proxy in front of Vercel may encounter. Key enhancements include:

Expanded Support

• Support beyond production domains to include preview domains.
• Added support for single domain rules for preview deployment URLs and aliases.

Project-Scoped Rules

• Project-scoped bypass rules now include all domains connected to a project.

Increased Limits

• Pro customers can now set up to 25 system bypass rules.
• Enterprise customers can now set up to 100 system bypass rules (increased from 3 and 5, respectively).
