Detoxie is a premium skincare and haircare brand based in New Delhi, India. They specialize in anti-stress and anti-pollution products designed to protect skin and hair from the effects of pollution, hard water, UV rays, stress, and fatigue. Detoxie wanted to redesign their website to provide a better user experience and increase product awareness.
To begin the redesign process, I conducted background research to understand the purpose of the website and the target audience. I also performed a heuristic evaluation of the existing website to identify any usability issues. This evaluation helped define the primary objectives of the project and determine the necessary features.
Based on the research and evaluation, I defined the project goals, focusing on finding a balance between business, user, and technical aspects. I created a product feature roadmap to outline the essential features needed for an MVP.
Next, I assessed the information architecture of the existing website and made improvements to ensure a logical and user-friendly structure. I organized the content into clear categories and improved navigation to make it easier for users to find what they are looking for.
After defining the information architecture, I created wireframes to visualize the layout and structure of the new website. I incorporated user feedback and iterated on the designs to ensure they met user needs and expectations.
Once the wireframes were finalized, I moved on to the visual design phase. I used Figma, Illustrator, and Photoshop to create a modern and visually appealing design that aligned with Detoxie's brand identity. I focused on creating a clean and minimalist design with a soothing color palette to reflect the calming and stress-relieving nature of the products.
During the development phase, I collaborated with the development team to ensure the design was implemented correctly. I also conducted usability testing to gather feedback and identify any issues before the website was launched.
The redesign of Detoxie's website resulted in a more intuitive and user-friendly platform. The improved information architecture and navigation make it easier for users to find and purchase products. The modern and visually appealing design helps reflect Detoxie's brand and attract potential customers.
